I am a craft instructor for the local university and community college. I teach young ladies and gentlemen general arts, crafts and sewing skills. I hope to see some of my students with a shop of their own someday! I have had a love for sewing since I was eight and very bored one summer. My mother taught me to make a stuffed animal- I haven't been bored since!
I have the good fortune to travel along the eastern seaboard to specialty fabric stores in the summer months, searching for those perfect fabrics and notions.I also make jewelry. My favorite necklaces are inspired by primitive cultures and early civilizations. Chalk it up to my love for archaeology.Yep, I'm a history geek. I take great care in choosing jewelry components to give you a piece of jewelry that you can enjoy for years to come.
I have my beautiful daughters that are my pride and joy and my best friend in the world, my husband. We have a new pup, Madison. The vets best guess is that she is a mix of Alaskan malamute and Akita. We adopted her from the local shelter, after someone jogging through the woods found her and her brothers abandoned. She is lots of fun and very energetic.
Crafts:
Jewelry, totes, purses, and just about anything else that can be handmade or sewn with fabric.
