- My name is Levi and I’ve been taking care of my disabled mother since 1993. I’m 27 years old with a degree in interior design and a second degree in hospitality management “my personal favorite”, which has proven handy when dealing with everyone I know or meet. I believe that interpersonal communication is severely lacking in our world and that’s why most people are unhappy or at most temporarily displeased with situations concerning others.
Art is highly therapeutic and helps let the mind explore varying degrees of sight. It can make you pause, think, and reflect. I support all venues of creation and value every item that one creates. If art never existed the world would look and feel pretty bland.
I have opened PIFS for my mother to help keep her mind pre-occupied on positive things instead of negative things, hoping that she and others like her will empower themselves to make life enjoyable when circumstances are not so bright.
No money is being made by any creations she and I make. The basic reason for this store is mother and son therapy. Mental disabilities can’t be cured but with a little love, a little hope, and a little time “disabilities of all kinds can be managed and or improved”!
