- My name is Shari. I live with a Beagle named Velvet. Beagles are unique in that every minute of every day, whether asleep or awake, the only thing on their minds, ever, is FOOD. They will eat anything, it doesn't matter if it's organic or inorganic: if they can swallow it, its food. So, I thought if she ate less processed food and more good tasting "homemade" food, maybe she wouldn't want the other stuff as much. As I sat and watched her inhale her kibble one evening, I thought how awful it must be to eat the same thing day after day for your entire life, and the idea behind Crumbrulee came to mind. I started doing some research and experimented with different recipes and was so happy with how excited Velvet is with my baking. She sits in the kitchen and whines and stares up at the counter where the treats are cooling for hours until I put them the refrigerator.
- Crafts:
- Ciao, Hound is a line of homemade specialty dog treats and dog food toppers that even the most picky puppy will chow down. These unique recipes have no preservatives, no salt and no sugar added. Everything is made with human-grade food, taste-tested by me, personally, my beagle and several other volunteers.
